Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 1.72 or higher
and a Water Factor (WF) of 8.0 or lower qualify for the rebate.
2. The home where appliance is being
installed must have electric water
heating.

Dishwasher

1. Energy Star dishwashers must have a maximum energy use of 324 kWh/year and 5.8 gallons per cycle for standard models and a maximum energy use of 234 kWh/year and 4.0 gallons per cycle for compact models.
2. The home where appliance is being
installed must have electric water
heating.

Electric Water Heater

Water Heaters between 0-59 gallons must
have an Energy Factor of .93 or higher. Water Heaters 60 gallons and greater must have an Energy Factor of .91 or higher.

Energy Star Freezers with a volume of 7.75 cubic feet or larger that are at least 10% more energy efficient than the minimum federal government standard qualify for the rebate. |
Lifetime Warranty Water Heater
$75 |
Marathon water heaters with a lifetime tank warranty qualify for the rebate. |
Refrigerator
$25 |
Energy Star refrigerators 7.75 cubic feet or larger that are at least 20% more energy efficient than the minimum federal government standard qualify for the rebate. |
Refrigerator Decommissioning
$25 |
EPUD customers purchasing an Energy Star refrigerator for the rebate may also qualify for this rebate by decommissioning their old refrigerator. (The old refrigerator must be at least 14 cu. ft. in capacity & verified as functional. The unit must be decommissioned & its components recycled.) Provide proof of decommissioning such as a receipt from the Lane County Landfill.
