9/30/08 - EPUD/BPA Planned Outage Affects Fewer than Expected

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) successfully completed required maintenance on the EPUD Cheshire substation this weekend, after a 5-hour planned outage early the morning of the 27th. It was estimated the outage would affect 3,200 EPUD customer-owners in North Eugene (Santa Clara), Cheshire, Junction City and Alvadore, but only 450 customer-owners were actually without power.
