for an easy and affordable way to do more for the environment? Choose
Green Power! When you choose to buy cleaner electricity, you help reduce
air pollution. An average customer purchasing cleaner electricity on
our 100% plan for a year can avoid contributing 17,000 lbs of greenhouse
gas (CO2) into the air, or what a car produces in 18,000 miles.
Residential
- The 100% Green Power Plan
purchases green energy equal to ALL of your monthly usage. The cost is
.8 cents per kWh (in addition to your regular bill). That's
approximately $10 more per month for an average household.
- With the 50% Green Power Plan HALF
the power you buy is generated from green resources. It costs an
additional .8 cents per kWh (in addition to your regular bill). That's
approximately $5 more per month. Costs for these programs may vary,
depending on how much electricity you use.
